The Dating Specialist is Now NickNotas.com
After over three years, I’m saying goodbye to The Dating Specialist brand.
I’ve written 200+ articles totaling 200,000 words (roughly 4 full books!) under this name. The site has grown to over 100,000 loyal monthly readers. And in 2 months after launching the forum, there are 110 threads and 700 posts. That’s an incredible amount of advice, support, and success stories from all of you.
Now I’m excited to announce the next step — this site has officially moved to NickNotas.com.
To celebrate this launch, I’m offering discounted coaching for the first time.

Why did I change to NickNotas.com?
There are two main reasons:
This is more than dating. I don’t want to be seen as just another dating guru. The guy that you come to when trying to get a girl and forget about afterwards. I teach so much more than that. I want to stay relevant and meaningful in your lives for years to come.
Getting laid is easy (in the grand scheme of things). Maintaining healthy, fulfilling relationships is hard. Learning a few tricks to seem confident and attractive in the moment is simple. Becoming a genuinely confident, attractive person is a journey.
You have to think bigger and long-term. I want to help people improve their overall quality of life.
Some fresh topics I’m going to cover include: empathy, self-respect, self-efficacy, emotional management, conflict management, anxiety, addictive behaviors, superiority/inferiority complexes, passion, forgiveness, gratitude, and being truly happy.
I want to be closer to my readers. I’m not a brand, I’m a person. I want people to directly connect with me, Nick Notas. I felt “The Dating Specialist” made me appear less accessible.
I hope that being vulnerable with my own name inspires more engagement. I want people to feel comfortable commenting and reaching out to me. So please, post your opinions, criticisms, or related questions when I publish a new post. Pick my brain, I’m happy to help!
I also know some people were nervous to share my articles publicly because “dating advice” can feel shameful. I want my writing to be something that people are proud and excited to share.
What’s in store?
My plans for the next 12 months include:
Increased, varied content. I’m ramping up production on all fronts. I’m reaching out to experts in relevant fields to guest post. That means more quality posts for you guys. I’m even dabbling in some video work and audio interviews.
As stated above, I’ll be broadening the scope to other self-improvement topics. I’ll also have more gender-neutral posts as they apply to everyone, not just men. Don’t worry, I will still have dating-related articles and in fact, I’m pumped to announce…
My first book! I plan to self-publish it this year, hopefully by the fall. My goal is to answer two questions once and for all:
“What makes an attractive man?”
“How do you flirt in an effective yet respectful way?”
There are a lot of “attraction” books out there and I know I have to stand out. I’m compiling seven years of personal experience, my work as a coach, and extensive research into proven psychology.
This will be the most concrete, step-by-step practical guide ever released with tons of exercises and examples. I will likely create an online course from this, too.
How can you help?
I’m dedicated to making the user experience as fast and friendly as possible. I ask that you be patient with any site problems during this transition.
